Co-Facilitators

Jill Graydon and her horse, Ted, look forward to meeting you at the farm.

JIll Graydon, Lead Facilitator

My love of horses began over 50 years ago. I have experienced many disciplines of the horse world, from backyard pony rides to higher-level competition in Dressage. All that time, I thought the goal was to win a ribbon, but I later realized that the horses were my life skills teachers.

In 2016, I started my journey to be an Equine Assisted Learning Facilitator. A friend introduced me to this modality of working with horses and people.

Captivated by the power of the horse's non-verbal and non-judgmental responses to human actions, I repeatedly witnessed an immediate mindset shift in the clients. I have seen this coaching change so many lives, including my own. It has given people more confidence, improved their communication skills, demonstrated to leaders the best way to lead, and shown children how to be in a healthy relationship.

I have experienced many ups and downs in my life. Going to my horses has been a lifesaver for me. My heart's work is to show others the peace and clarity that horses can guide you to in your life. The horses and I invite you to our beautiful farm.

Rest of the Crew

The welcome committee consists of my three dogs, Max, Macy and Moka and the horses, Ted and Cheyenne.

The dogs are Labrador Retrivers from the same parents just different litters. Macy has been my “therapy” dog after the loss of my husband in 2022. She is extremely sensitive to all changes in emotions, very similiar to the horses and the way they respond to us.

The horses in the background deserve their own introductions.

Cheyenne

Cheyenne was the bonus when I bought the farm in 2023. She could not make the trip to Georgia with her family, so I readily raised my hand to have her stay with me.

The first time I met her, she stayed by my side while I was conversing with her previous person. It was like she wanted her say and calmly waited her turn. I love her gentle, sweet energy; she fills you with happiness when she is by your side.

Cheyenne will be a great partner in quieting your worries and helping you develop your next steps.

Ted entered my life when I turned 55. My desire to get back into horses became a goal after I became an empty-nester.

Ted was a skinny 3 1/2-year-old with a huge personality that challenged most people. My goal was to let him know that not all humans were untrustworthy. Trust and respect take time with horses, as they do with humans. We have taught each other those life skills and now have a remarkable relationship.

He now is a compassionate and gentle soul. He loves attention and will guide you to discover more about yourself..
